Ms. Spencer and Dr. Warren formed SEP FC because of their shared desire to continue helping experts in the legal field better understand forensic science and what occurs behind-the-scenes, culminating in the final Official Lab Report that they receive. Having testified for both the prosecution and defense, SEP FC provides experienced experts in both crime scene investigation as well as forensic evidence examination. Ms. Spencer and Dr. Warren have trained multiple state and local agencies in these areas. They have also participated in forensic training conferences as well as the Tennessee District Attorney General's Conference Trial Advocacy Course and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Forensic Seminar.
Our consultants were trained in ASCLD-LAB legacy as well as ISO 17025 accredited laboratories and continue to carry this level of quality in their current work. This includes undergoing external annual proficiency testing from the same company used by most forensic crime laboratories around the country.
